The Association of Professional Societies in East Africa (APSEA) is the joint forum and umbrella body of professional associations and societies in East Africa representing a corporate membership of twenty eight (28) professional associations. Membership is drawn from diverse professional disciplines that include accounting and finance, law, public and corporate administration, surveying, valuation, medicine, engineering, geology, architecture, veterinary science, planning, food science & technology and procurement among many others. The corporate member associations have an estimated membership of over 100,000 individual professionals in Kenya alone.
DECLARATION OF A VACANCY FOR THE NOMINEE OF THE ASSOCIATION OF PROFESSIONAL SOCIETIES IN EAST AFRICA (APSEA) TO THE SALARIES AND REMUNERATION COMMISSION.
Pursuant to the provisions of Article 230(2)(c)(iii) of Constitution of Kenya 2010 and Part II, Section 4(2), 6 and 7 of the Salaries and Remuneration Commission Act No. 10 of 2011, the Association of Professional Societies in East Africa (APSEA) as the joint forum of professional bodies is mandated to invite applications from suitably qualified persons to be nominated by the Association of Professional Societies in East Africa (APSEA) as a member of the Salaries and Remuneration Commission.
APSEA is required to nominate One (1) Professional drawn from the APSEA Corporate Membership as its representative and nominee to the Salaries and Remuneration Commission.
